Our bird nest products has obtained the Veterinarian Control Certification (NKV), which confirms our fulfillment of hygiene and sanitation in animal-source food processing and safety. It’s also to be highlighted that the NKV Certification received covers from maintenance of our bird nest houses, harvesting method, as well as storage system once the product has been cleaned to the desired level of hygiene standard.

Bird Nest Processing Method

Cleansing

We wash our bird nest under running filtered water while gently and chemically free rubbing each piece to cleanse any dirt that may have contaminated the nest at our bird nest houses.

Plucking

This method is use to remove any natural contamination such as bird feathers that has been stuck on the nest since harvesting from our own bird nest houses.

Quality Check

Three to four rounds of quality check under bright lighting and high resolution magnifying glass is done to ensure each product is thoroughly clean before undergoing the moulding process.

Moulding Process

The clean bird nest are then moulded together as a way to fix any fibers that may have been slightly broken during the cleaning process.

Storage

Once each bird nest has passed our rigorous quality check, the products will be stored in our sterilised storage room.

Sterilization Process

Before our products are packed, each bird nest is sterilized in a high temperature steamer to ensure each product will be free from any germs and/or bacteria. As for our glass bottle packaging, we use retort sterilization process for best hygiene quality.
